Programs:
Short term program is with a host (partner or non-partner university, third party provider) and is less than 8 weeks in duration.
Global Internship program is with an organisation who is providing work experience for credit, non-credit or course recognition.

Required documents:

• Valid passport: you are required to submit a valid passport which will be valid for the duration of your exchange. If you are currently applying or renewing a passport, please submit it once you have your valid document.
• Study plan proposal form: To ensure you will receive credit, you need to complete a study plan proposal form and have your course coordinator check and approve your units to confirm the credit value and that you will receive credit.

*Please note that if yes to either of the above, you will be required to submit a fitness to travel document closer to the time of your program.

By completing this application form, we will automatically assess your eligibility for a New Colombo Plan (NCP) Mobility Grant. If you are eligible, we will email you confirmation.

To be eligible to apply for New Colombo Plan funding, you must:

• Be an Australian citizen and not have dual citizenship or residency rights in the program host location.
• Be aged between 18 and 28 years of age or is seeking approval to be considered as a mature applicant.
• Be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Curtin in a Bachelor or Bachelor Honours Degree and be receiving credit for your program towards your degree.
• Not an employee of the branch of DFAT that administers NCP.
• Be participating in a program located in an eligible Indo-pacific host location
